Finally, Find 5 is revealed today in Beijing and Oppo is all ready to enter the phablet market with its flagship phone Find 5. Featuring a 5-inch 1080p 441ppi display, Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chip with 2GB RAM, a 13 megapixel camera (supports 120 fps slow motion 480p video recording), a 2,500mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Oppo’s custom ROM, the Find 5 is definitely a true phablet beast. Check out the official press release photos below.
It also comes with NFC built-in, supporting wireless video streaming.

Another feature that’s noteworthy is the phone’s hardware-enabled HDR for both photos and video. One more thing, the Find 5 features Dirac HD, a mixed-phase loudspeaker correction technology. Companies such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, BMW, Datasat Digital Entertainment and Naim Audio offer this technology, and today, Oppo is the first mobile phone brand to join the party. And best of all, the Find 5’s stock earbuds are fine-tuned for Dirac.

As for availability and pricing, Oppo will be offering the phone for just ¥2,998 (about US$480), and that’s the 16GB version. According to Oppo, the Find 5 is expected to be on sale by January 2013. If you are living in the States and you want one, well, good news, as Oppo will be offering the Find 5 in the U.S. market too for just $499, and that’s contract-free! At the moment, stay tuned for our hands-on video.
